Ok, so I’m thinking about taking the leap and going back to school. At 34 years old, does it make sense to change careers to follow my lifelong passion? That is the question I have been asking myself for many years. If I’ve been dreaming of becoming an interior designer since I was 12, shouldn’t I follow that dream? It’s never too late, right?
Sure… and to give up the comfortable salary and job I have… give up my spare time for over four years… test the marriage…
How does one decide?

Follow your passion, follow your dreams at any age, which I might add is very young! Bottom line, you’re never too old to switch gears and embark on a new career if that’s what you desire.
I too have a passion for design and decorating so recently launched an interior redesign and home staging firm as I craved a creative outlet and wanted fulfillment doing something I love to do every day and that’s what design is for me. Do what you enjoy.and what makes you really happy. So, I say go for it and pursue what drives/motivates you. Good Luck!
